To determine if there is an available Evaluator in your area, CLICK HERE The process to select your evaluator for the practical evaluation occurs upon successful completion of the virtual class.

This virtual classroom training and hands-on practical evaluation allows students to obtain the necessary knowledge and skills required to operate Class 1, 4, 5 (counterbalance) and Class 7 (rough terrain) forklifts safely. Upon successful completion of the virtual classroom theory and final written exam, students must successfully complete the in-person hands-on practical evaluation for each piece of equipment conducted by a qualified Sunbelt Rentals Certified Evaluator to receive operator certification.

Topics include:

• Responsibilities as a user and operator
• Conducting a pre-start inspection
• Conducting a workplace inspection
• Various types of equipment
• Safe operation
• Preventing accidents and identifying hazards in operation

Students have 90 days to successfully complete their practical evaluation after finishing the online coursework to receive certification.
