Vincent Capone (New York)

Vincent (Vinny) has been around heavy equipment and tractor trailers from a young age being the son of a trucking company owner/operator on Long Island. After a few years being a videographer for weddings and other events in his teens, Vinny joined Pride Equipment Corp in 1989 booking rentals. During Vinny’s 28-year career with Pride Equipment he held various positions including Sales Coordinator, IT manager, and Equipment Trainer.

In 2017, following the acquisition of Pride Equipment by Sunbelt Rentals, Vinny took on the safety trainer role and is qualified to teach MEWP (boom & scissor lift), earthmoving and forklift operator certification courses, as well as Fall Protection Awareness. His broad service area includes Long Island, NYC, Brooklyn, Queens, Westchester, Bronx, Staten Island, and Northern New Jersey.

Through his thirty-five plus years in the industry, Vinny has seen numerous accidents on equipment, some of them fatal. Vinny finds his job gratifying knowing he is teaching his students safe operating skills to help ensure they return home safe at the end of the day.

Vinny lives in Long Island, NY with his fiancé Denise and their four cats. Vinny enjoys playing guitar and is a die-hard Islanders fan!
